See All ReviewsNo reason to go back here. We used to be regulars. Their made to order meals were great and reasonably priced. Now it’s all prepackaged and more expensive. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was the tiniest croissant I’ve ever seen.
New decorations are ok.. but everything else is a downgrade. Almost all the seating has been moved outside. Unfortunately even with the fans sitting outside in the humidity is not very comfortable. The new menu is just convenience store food but with less variety. There are also no prices posted anywhere so my total at the register was a surprise, thankful I had enough cash and wasn't embarrassed. Staff seemed annoyed when I came in. Before I would come in after one of the library programs regularly. It seems like they were expecting most of us who had that routine to stop coming. I understand this is run by the city, but why is the city trying to sabotage what used to be one the best local cafes.
I had been looking forward to visiting this cafe. I had been impressed when I discovered that it was located at the library. I drove from south Clermont to meet a friend here. Well, it’s not what it had been. Everything comes prepackaged. I had a chicken salad sandwich and it was fine. The ladies were friendly; but I was so disappointed that it had changed. There is only one table inside. The rest of the space has soft chairs; so if the one table is taken inside, one will have to eat outside on the tables there.
